CORRECTIVE FITNESS IS ABOUT
CORRECTING AND SUBSTITUTING OLD AND OBSOLETE DESIGNS
WITH NEW ONES THAT WHILE HELPING THE STRENGTH AND
FLEXIBILITY OF THE MUSCLES PRESERVE AND ENHANCE THE
HEALTH OF THE SPINE.
THIS IS INNOVATION!
Today, 100 million Americans suffer
from some form of back pain. Most common pathologies
are located in the lower back and are due to bad
posture, lack of exercise, or exercises done with
the wrong equipment. In addition, to date, there are
no comprehensive therapies and no equipment to
effectively develop muscles of the upper body and
help strengthen and regenerate the lower back in the
most efficient and safe manner.
The single most important objective
in lower back fitness and rehabilitation is
flexibility of the spine, mobility of the pelvis,
healthy discs, and strong lower back muscles. Each
of these objectives requires scientifically targeted
exercise action, only where is needed, i.e.,
avoiding stress to other parts of the body. Some
popular fitness equipment are designed to do just
the opposite. They either disperse the physical
action or allow other parts of the body much as the
lower back to be affected by it, producing long and
short term damages. Machines, such as the rotary
torso, stomach crunch, back extension, etc.
accommodate and exercise the body in the sitting
position. In this position, the vertebral pressure
on the discs increases by approximately 60 %. We
must also take into consideration that the head
accounts for almost 2/3 of the body weight. These
exercises are obviously done under excessive
vertebral compression. Moreover, the design of the
machines forces the user to initiate the action from
the shoulders -- such is the case in the machines
mentioned above. This means that the stress travels
directly to the lower back causing greater damage in
that region which is weakest point and the dynamic
fulcrum of the movement.
THE ALL-ABDOMINAL MIRACLE MACHINE
TM performs the exercises described
below and much more by safely and effectively
targeting the action to particular parts of the
lower body, whether it is on the lumbar muscles, the
abdominal muscles, or the lower spine, etc. It does
so by accommodating the body in a horizontal
position, raising the legs of the user, thus
isolating and protecting the lower back with special
support mechanisms. Only with the body in horizontal
position is it possible to allow space in between
intervertebral discs and safely perform such
exercises. In this way, pressure is reduced, the
discs are refurbished with lymph, and the normal
function is reestablished.
THE ALL-ABDOMINAL MIRACLE MACHINE
TM offers the following exercises:
ADJUSTABLE WEIGHT ROTATION OF
THE TORSO. It is performed by activating the frontal
swinging mechanism and placing the desired
weight on it. It works both the internal and
external muscles of the thighs, the iliotibial
bands, the abductors, and upwards to the
erectors sacro spinales, the posterior layers of
the lumbar region, the longissimus, the
iliocostalis, the serratus, the spleniuses, the
traversus, etc. The twisting action has a
strengthening action and is also a miraculous
remedy against muscle spasms, stiffen, and
atrophic conditions. Often the pain caused by
such symptoms disappear instantly after this
exercise. This is why we call it THE
ALL-ABDOMINAL MIRACLE MACHINE TM. With extended
side movements, this exercise achieves pelvic
mobility, spinal flexibility, abdominal and
lumbar muscle strengthening, stress free for
both discs and cartilage. This is because in
such a body position much intervertebral space
is maintained for free movements of the spine.
GRAVITY INDUCED FORWARD
BENDING OF THE PELVIS.
This exercise is performed after having placed
the desired weight and having rolled the weight
stack forward. With adequate weight, the body of
the user is gently induced to a frontal bend in
each repetition. The machine is designed in a
way that the fulcrum of movement coincides
precisely with the pelvic area of the user. This
helps achieve pelvis and spine frontal
flexibility. The exercise also stretches without
further ado the lumbar, erector muscles of the
lower back, which is therapeutically beneficial.
With increased weight, the user may also provide
some resistance, which engages and exercises the
abdominal muscles.
WEIGHT CONTROLLED REARWARD
EXTENSION OF THE BACK.
This exercise, normally referred to as the “back
extension,” is performed on the return motion
from the gravity induced forward bending of the
pelvis. The user applies direct force with the
lower back (not with the shoulders, as it is
done with conventional machines) against the
anatomical roller assembly. This action
strengthens the lumbar erector muscles,
stretches the abdominal muscles, and increases
rear pelvis mobility. With the legs of the user
raised and resting on the especially designed
leg rest, the back is well supported and
isolated, so that the action is concentrated on
strengthening the lumbar muscles safely and
effectively.
WEIGHT CONTROLLED FORWARD
BENDING OF THE TORSO.
This exercise, normally referred to as the
“stomach crunch,” is performed after placing the
desired weight and rolling the weight stack
backwards. The action, because of the specific
design of the machine, is placed 100% on the
abdominal muscle for the same reason stated
above. In conventional machines instead, the
action is shared by both the abdominal and the
lumbar muscles. Again, the legs of the user are
also raised and resting on the specially
designed leg rest. The back is well supported,
making the strengthening of the abdominal
muscles the safest and most concentrated
exercise action.
STRETCHING AND SELF-POSTURAL
ADJUSTMENT OF THE SPINE.
This exercise, normally referred to as “spinal
arching,” can be performed during the rearward
extension exercise, each time the body returns
from the forward bending exercise, or separately
by performing some sit ups. The user can control
this exercise by gradually turning the adjusting
the opposite wheel and thus gradually increasing
the bending of the spine. This allows
progressive postural correction, spinal
flexibility, and spinal awareness, which is
basic for a healthy back.
ROLLER MASSAGING AND SUPPORT
OF THE NECK DURING EXERCISES.
These actions are provided during all main
exercises by an adjustable, spring-loaded roller
assembly. The neck roller assembly is designed
to work either by itself or in conjunction with
the main back roller assembly. It supports the
delicate cervical vertebrae and the neck muscle
during exercises; and it massages the back of
the neck for a soothing action and increased
blood circulation during the exercise.
ANATOMICAL ROLLER MASSAGING
AND SUPPORT OF THE BACK DURING EXERCISES.
These actions are provided during all main
exercises by a spring-loaded anatomical roller
assembly. The rollers are shaped and juxtaposed
to perfectly follow the contour of the back of
every user. Attached to the main pivoting
mechanism, the roller assembly provides support
for the back during the main exercises, which
prevents injuries and maintains correct spinal
posture. In addition, during the frontal and
rearward exercises, the user receives an
invigorating massage to the entire back, for
improved blood circulation and postural
awareness.
ADDITIONAL EXERCISES OF
PROGRESSIVE SPINAL ARCHING AND POSTURING, PELVIS
RAISING, SIT UPS, ETC.. By accommodating the
body of the user in horizontal position, the
machine offers the correct position and support
for a variety of exercises, such as individual
sit-ups, back stretching, arching, etc., which
improve and strengthen the lower back.

LEFT AND RIGHT SHOWING: The
side movements and/or the Rotation of the Lower Back
and Pelvis Exercise. This gentle exercise engages
all abdominal and lumbar muscles, loosens the
pelvis, relieves pressure from discs, gently twists
and stretches the spine ligaments for lower back
pain and spasm relief.
SHOWING: The Gravity Induced Forward Bending
of the Pelvis. The length of this movement is
adjustable by a stop pin and by sliding the weight
stack forward for overall flexibility, disc
decompression, ligament stretching, lower back pain
and spasm relief. On the return, the machine
performs the Rearward Extension of the Back, (back
extension), which engages the lumbar muscles. Notice
the position of the legs and feet of the user, which
by being raised allows the action to be targeted to
the lumbar muscles and remain there.
Notice the perfect body position and
legs elevated for targeting abdominal muscles and
protection of the spine.

correct position of the body, the perfect support
and raised leg allows concentrated and proper action
to all upper body muscles.

Movement of the Weight Controlled
Forward Bending of the Pelvis (Stomach Crunch) This
exercise is performed by sliding the weight stack
forward. It produces an effective action on the
abdominal muscles without stressing the spine.

curvature and adjustable postural roller assembly.
The latter offers progressive Spinal Stretching and
Self-postural Adjusting exercises, (spinal arching),
as well as lumbar support during the previous
exercises. This machine is scientifically designed
to be user-friendly, so it feels like part of the
body. All adjustments are reachable by the user from
this horizontal position, and the user can perform
all exercises consecutively without exiting the
machine.

that both supports and massages the neck during the
exercises.
SHOWING: the main anatomical back roller
assembly that both supports and massages the entire
back during the exercises.
SHOWING: THE ALL-ABDOMINAL MIRACLE MACHINE
TM in all its
main assemblies. The frontal rotary mechanism and
the pivoting mechanism work separately. During the
rotary exercise the pivoting mechanism is locked in
place, while the rotary mechanism is free.
Alternatively, during the pivoting exercises the
reverse is obtained: the rotary mechanism is locked
in place. Both the foot and the leg rest assemblies
are pin adjustable. As shown in the picture, when
the weight stack is slid forward the machine pivots
in a likewise fashion gently bringing the body of
the user forward and achieving gradual bending of
the pelvis. On the return, the rearward extension of
the back (back extension) is performed. As visible
in the picture, the main anatomical roller assembly,
serves as support, and swivels as well, in order to
follow the contour of the user’s back and perform an
effective and invigorating massage during exercises,
which improves circulation and spinal awareness.
Also visible in the picture is the neck roller
assembly, which provides the same beneficial actions
to the neck.
SHOWING: one side detail of both the
adjustable, postural roller support assembly and the
anatomical roller assembly. All rollers are mounted
on bearings. Some rollers are spring- loaded in
order to produce a calibrated pressure action in
particular areas of the back. All rollers are molded
from soft self-skinning, urethane which offers easy
cleaning and durability. The anatomical rollers are
shaped in such way as to produce slight pressure
along either side of the spine, along the
sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system, and
along the main spinal cord for a soothing massage.
SHOWING: details of the adjustable
spring-loaded roller arching mechanism and of the
roller seat. Also showing from right to left is the
sliding pin that locks the frontal rotary mechanism;
the 4” wheel for manual adjustment of the back
arching mechanism; the upper lever for locking the
pivoting mechanism; and the lower pin that adjusts
the radius length of the pivoting mechanism. All
these adjustments offer extended possibilities both
for the fitness and the rehabilitation of the lower
back, and can be reached by the user’s right hand
while in horizontal position.
